Welcome to the MRC Tool Bucket Library!
At the heart of sustainable living lies the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County (MRCs), a dedicated 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization. Our mission is clear: to empower our community with practical education, training, and support that promotes composting and solid waste reduction. We champion the principles of reuse, repurposing, and recycling to foster resilient and sustainable communities.
Introducing the MRC Tool Bucket Library – a novel concept that brings the traditional library experience to the world of tools. Imagine a place where, instead of books, you have access to an array of tools for your home and garden needs. It’s a community-driven hub where members can:
Borrow from a diverse collection of tools for home and yard maintenance, sewing, cooking, and even games
Join as a member and enjoy free or low-cost access to our shared resources
Contribute by donating tools, enriching our repository, and supporting sustainability
Volunteer as a Tool Librarian, Volunteer Fixer, or Grant Writer, playing a pivotal role in our community’s growth
For those over the age of eighteen, the MRC Tool Bucket Library is more than just a lending service; it’s a movement. It’s about building self-reliance, encouraging repair over replacement, and reducing the consumption of durable goods. Join us in this journey towards a greener tomorrow.
Become a part of the change. Reuse, Repair, and Recycle with the MRC Tool Bucket Library.
